Shower pumps
Shower pumps boost flow on gravity-fed systems. They can fail because of wear, debris, air ingress or because they were never correctly sized. We replace failed pumps and check the surrounding pipework so the new one is not damaged by the same cause.
If you have a combi boiler, a shower pump is not the right solution — combis are already mains-pressure. We will tell you that rather than sell you equipment you do not need.
Taps and showers in bathrooms

Frequently asked questions
Repair or replace a dripping tap?
Often a cartridge or washer will fix it. If the body is corroded or the tap is obsolete, replacement is more sensible. We will tell you which is better value rather than defaulting to replacement.
Can you fit taps I have already bought?
Yes. Send us the make and model or a photo before booking so we can check compatibility with your existing pipework and isolation valves.
Why is my shower flow so weak?
It could be a failing pump, a blocked shower head, a scaled valve, or genuinely low mains pressure. The fix is different in each case, so we diagnose before recommending a pump or a new shower.
Do I need a shower pump?
Only if low pressure is the actual cause. Fitting a pump to a system that does not need one wastes money and can be noisy. We check first.
Do you repair electric showers?
We can inspect and advise. Some electric shower faults are plumbing-related and some are electrical, which needs a qualified electrician. We will tell you which you are dealing with.
